Gahanna creekside park area is a great location that combines nature, restaurants, and quaint small town ambiance. the park is small, but it is very picturesque. you can even rent a paddle boat for 30 minutes and paddle your way down a short stretch of creek (small fee for boat rental). it was really a nice time.. Perkins observatory in delaware, ohio - purchase tickets in advance! then enjoy a truly captivating "lecture" about astronomy that will be enjoyed by all, a tour of the observator. Water levels in the creek were low in mid may so the waterfall wasn't flowing and you couldn't rent paddle boats on the pond yet. it was still a beautiful park right near downtown gahanna to the east and the airport to the west..
