Ok well i am goin back and fourth between the two right now. i am looking at either another hobie (mine was stolen) or get a ws commander 120 vs. a jon boat. good things about the hobie is the hands free fishing but one of my favorite fishing places is covered up in grass mats and vegetation and. I've had both. i don't stand in my canoe. i did in my jon boat. if that's your main concern, get the jon. with a jon boat, you just need a flat spot to launch. just back in and go. between the 2, i'd get the canoe. easier to store, easier for just me, or me and another person. easier for me to say to that third person that they won't fit..
Well im stuck between a canoe or 10' jon boat. i mainly fish small creeks and medium to small lakes. thats just me, but i will most likely have company for a few trips, got female friends with kids and absent or not so good fathers..
